How do I access voicemail?

Each time you need to access your mailbox,  you have to log in.  To login in follow these steps…
1. Dial your mailbox number 448-1157
2. When the system answers press #
3. Enter your security code.  If this is the first time accessing voicemail your code is 9999
4. You will be at the main menu.

Record a Personal Voicemail Greeting.

This is the greeting that will be heard when someone calls your house and/ or business.
1. Log into your mailbox 448-1157.
2. When the system answers, press #.
3. The system will ask you to enter your security code. Enter 9999.
4. Press 2 for the greetings menu.
5. Press 23 to record your personal greeting.
6. Record your greeting and when finished, press #.  {Your greeting can be 60 seconds or less}
7. Press 21 to review your message

My phone has no dial tone.

How to play your messages.

After you log into the system you will be at the main menu:

If you have any messages, the system will inform you that you have messages.
1. Press 1 to play your messages.
2. After each message, the system will prompt you to erase, save, or keep new each message.
3. Press 1 to keep new, press 2 to save or press 5 to erase.

During the playing of messages:

Press 4 to rewind a message by 6 seconds
Press 44 to rewind a message to the beginning
Press 6 to fast forward by 6 seconds
Press 66 to fast forward to the end of a message
Press *6, *7, *8 to adjust the volume
Press *4 to recover erased messages before hanging up
Press *1 to go back to the main menu

Helpful hints:

Check your mailbox on a regular basis
Make sure you change your security code from the default of 9999
Return your calls promptly
The voicemail system will automatically purge messages that are 14 days old
Tell your friends that you have voicemail, and that they should not be afraid to leave a message after the tone
