Line Charge
NEP Telephone currently provides our customers with a package of services including telephone, television and high speed internet. This bundling allows NEP Telephone and NEP Data Vision to provide these services to our customers at a lower price than if they were purchased on an individual basis. However, if a customer elects to discontinue any of these services, the package pricing will be revised. If telephone service is discontinued, NEP Telephone is required, by its tariffs on file with the Federal Communications Commission, to charge an additional $25.00 per month for the high speed transmission line. This fee replaces the support the Company would have received from state and federal universal service programs, support designed to ensure rural rates remain affordable for all users.
