Terms and Conditions

The NEP Bundle is for residential customers only and requires approved credit and a current account in good standing. Cancellation of the bundled service by NEP for Customer's failure to pay will not result in termination of Customer's basic local service. Customer will continue to receive basic local service on a stand-alone basis at NEP's then-effective tariffed rate, and will be subject to future suspension or termination for nonpayment in accordance with the regulations of the PA Public Utility Commission. NEP local telephone service and NEP long distance service required for bundle. Service bundles include specific, pre-determined services and features. Customer social security number is requested to determine credit. Should you fail to provide a social security number a deposit may be required. Service bundles require a 12 month, signed service agreement. A prorated termination fee of $20 per month for all remaining months may apply to early cancellations. Customer must be authorized to make account changes to all accounts. Some calling features require feature-enabled equipment that must be supplied by the customer. Access charges, 911 charges, maintenance charges, taxes, surcharges, franchise fees and FCC regulatory fees and taxes may apply and will vary by area, these charges will be billed as a separate line item on your bill. Bundle service discounts are applied to services provisioned. If one or more of these services are cancelled higher rates may apply. Long Distance services are provided by NEP Long Distance Company. Service bundles require a PIC freeze on the telephone line associated with the bundle. The North-Eastern Pennsylvania Telephone Company may cancel services or substitute similar services at the sole discretion without notice. Other restrictions may apply. Package minutes apply to direct dialed calls only, calls outside the continental US are excluded. Overage rate is $0.15 per minute. Installation options and situations for service bundles vary. Not all services available in all areas.

NEP Internet is based on DSL Broadband technology. NEP's bundle advertised rate is based on 768 Kbps. Internet speeds will be provisioned up to 768 Kbps, 896 Kbps and 1 Mbps, and will be determined by line qualification requirements. Speed, availability and uninterrupted service not guaranteed. Factors include, but not limited to, internet and network congestion, condition of phone line and inside wiring, and the speed of the internet sites you visit. Termination of any bundled services may result in higher prices.

NEP DataVision is digital like technology and utilizes the NEP phone lines. HD TV is not available in all areas. Receiver is required and professionally installed by NEP service technicians. Receiver is property of NEP and must be returned upon cancellation. Equipment charges may apply if equipment is damaged or not returned. Additional HD equipment is required by customer to receive HD signaling and voice quality. TV package includes 77 local and network channels. Additional movie packages are extra and do not prorate.

NEP Wireless $5 off service plan applies to base plan only. Family or share plans do not apply. Rate will revert back if other services are cancelled. Additional taxes and fees may apply. E-911 service fee of $1.00 is mandated.
